Death of Journalism

It is the end of the world. This is the essence of the death of journalism. Long gone are the days that we would read a newspaper, turn pages of a magazine and browse cyberspace. The death of such a beautiful art has led to the difficulty of disseminating information which is one the basic purpose of journalism. News articles come to people days, even weeks after an event has occurred. Sadly, most of the information is learned from hearsays and through flyers and posters. I do not think that these are reliable sources of information.
Journalism is quite important as the world relies on communication to continue with its daily activities. A war could be happening in some part of the world right at this very moment, but we would not know anything about it as there is no means of relaying this kind of important information. Imagine what could happen to us, to our country, if we were affected by this war and not know anything about it? We would be left defenseless. Do you now see how important journalism is?
One day, I fervently hope that this art form would regain its former glory, and writers all over the world would once again be able to express themselves and disseminate information through writing.
